A little catching up

Whooo.... ssssh!.... went our summer. It all stated in May with the excitement of my first year of teaching being complete. It was a tough year and one of great satisfaction. But because of the busyness of the school year, I haven't felt like writing. So here I am playing catch up. One quick word here or there.

 Well, there ya go. Our summer all in a whirl. All that's left is sending off two beautiful girls to college. Wooooo... now let me sit down and catch my breath. 

Camping Trip 2: Leadville, Colorado

Camping is a part of summer we look forward to each year. I start scheduling our trips January 1st each year. Searching, scouring and planning each trip. Some camping adventures turn out a bit better than others. We love getting away, spending time with the kids and being in the forest. Okay, forget the forest part, we LIVE in the forest. We love being unplugged. How's that? This place has become our new favorite spot. The scenery couldn't be more beautiful and there's something for everyone to do. Fish. Ride. Sleep. Read. Hike. All of which we did. Well, I did NOT ride and T did NOT hike, but hey... we each got our exercise. We now have a favorite spot and a favorite campground. Can't wait to go back!
