This is a message for you.
IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR. A YEAR I SAY! CAN'T YA JUST GET YOUR BOOTY DOWN HERE ALREADY? I NEED A MOM AND DAD HUG AND SOME HOMEMADE FOOD. I NEED TO HEAR THE CHINK CHINK OF THE COFFEE MUG. I NEED TO HEAR DAD GET MAD AT HIS LAPTOP. SO... WHAT DO YA SAY?
HOW ABOUT JUST TWO SIMPLE WORDS:

It's My Birthday... I Never Would Have Imagined
This is my amazing 5th grade team. We were blessed with a meal to celebrate the September birthdays! I really love these ladies! |
Not only did I receive special treatment at school, but at home my man made the BEST dinner...steak, bacon mashers, amazing veggies, and this.... this wine. Oh baby, it is one of THE best wines I've had in a loooong time!
And.... this sunset, umm yep, mine. God painted on my behalf, don't ya know. :)
Only thing missing today, my sister. We share a birthday together only three years apart. We love spending time together and one day we will celebrate together again. Until then.... Happy Birthday!

Go Broncos!
This weekend turned into more than I had planned! My list consisted of working, resting and oh yeah, resting. T and I spent time going to dinner (and running errands :). What's a date without at least one errand? ), a movie night with our girls and THIS... This game! What a great surprise. A perfect Colorado September day and we're in the Broncos stadium surrounded by 70,000 other fans. Orange and Blue ev.er.y.where. The jets flew overhead to celebrate the grand ol' US of A, four men dropped out of a plane and landed safely on the field, and Shannon Sharpe received his Hall of Fame ring. Umm.. did I mention we WON!
Go Broncos!

Estes Park 2011
Time for one last hurrah this summer with our Vintage. We took advantage of the long weekend and went up to Estes Park with some dear friends. At first we were hesitant given our busy schedule now a days but it turned out to be a great weekend. The sun shone, the nights weren't too cold, and the fellowship sweet.
This is the Stanley Hotel in Estes. The Shining was filmed here and we had to go see it. Oh this place was gorgeous!!! The inside was vintage and just spectacular.
So we had a wonderful break from the norm. We ate great meals, had some awesome laughs, got sun burned, and came home to piles of laundry. Could we ask for more?
Our camping season is done for 2011. Can't wait until next season.
