Extreme Office Makeover... Phase 1

The dining office room, as we call it now, is officially on its way to The Office. I doubt there will be scandals or lack of work going on like our favorite sit-com but then again.. when we're aloooone.....

So. In the midst of budgetary constraints (I like long words like that :) we put aside money for this project. It is a MUST DO, MUST HAVE. When my husband, Mr. Do It Yourself Genius, works from home, I have to look around the corner before doing the dishes or even picking up the phone. Now, I'll clang those puppies around and he can still carry on his conversation. T is hoping to work from home more than not, which I love so the end result will be money saved and more time together. Of course he is working but still I go sit on the floor and chat some. Nice. Uh Huh.

We, though I really mean HE, pulled off the stair banister getting ready for the new wall and french door.

Tug, Tug, Pull...

Becca got into the project with Mr Drummel. How do you spell that? Her husband is gonna be soo happy she's handy. She loves helping T with projects. I, of course used too... now I grab the camera and start snapping.

This space will be for door number 2. Tell me Vanna what is behind there? Oh could that be the kitchen I see.

And here is T cutting more sheet rock. I reallllly wanted wood floors while we were at it but all I got was "The Look". Never hurts to ask.
