Yesterday was April 30th and a busy day at that. School, the park, sports games, and this. Gabe was on his way home after school and he was in an accident with 3 other cars. His car is totalled. His girlfriend's car is also totalled. They were maybe a 1/2 mile from home on a busy two lane road that should be 4 lanes. Thank the Lord there were not any serious injuries. Lara has some scrapes from her airbags deploying and another gentleman was taken to the hospital out of precaution. Gabe was the 4th in the line and his air bag never deployed. That was scary! So, we are now down to two cars and haven't any clue the financial consequence yet on his insurance. He has a small fine to pay for the accident and no car. You know, God is so in control. He is faithful in all things. For I know nothing happens that my Lord does not sift through His hands.
I am Thankful.

We are sooo thankful that there were no injuries; however, the car does look a bit injured. :-( Count your blessings & hug your boy! Then hug him again for good measure...
